You can phone Sony customer services and ask them to disable your PSN details on previous PS3's which will enable all the content for your new one.

The game is pretty crap right now but the basic foundation is there - it needs a UI makeover, some decent varied quests, and a simplication of the crafting system and then it should be pretty much sorted.
The graphics, combat and class system are all really well implemented so to make out like the game is some kind of awful, unsalvageable arbortion is just bollocks.

I think that its highly likely that they will because Sony has had a lot of critiscism over the lack of BC in most PS3's.

All online services will continue to grow. I actually wouldnt be surprised if the PS4 used Steam as its community infrastructure - Sony and Valve seem to be pretty chummy these days.

that depends on the architecture of the system. If the PS4 is based of the cell cpu (maybe one with more spu's or multiple cells working in parallel) then there is no reason why it couldnt be backwards compatible.
I doubt that sony is going to ditch the cell setup after the massive investment costs and the time taken to bring devs around to its strengths.
